There’s something so comforting about Perky Joe’s. I’ve only been there twice, but each time has been very special to me. The first was with S during Christmastime. It was long ago so I’m not positive, but I think I split a chocolate croissant with my mom and ordered a chai latte. I do remember that it was 100% delicious. S, J, and I all went last weekend. We had a great time with each other in the homey vibe of Perky Joe’s. The coffee shop is very small, cozy, and cute. It’s very old-fashioned, different from the Broad Street Grind. It felt like the place was giving me a warm hug. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino with hazelnut flavoring. It was my own mistake not realizing that it was hazelnut syrup rather than just the flavor, so it was painfully sweet for my personal taste, but I still enjoyed the treat-like drink. Unlike the broad street grind, this place reaaalllyy frothed my non-dairy milk. Maybe too much cause half my cute little mug was just froth. But I appreciated it. Stirred in, it helped cut the sweetness of the drink. I could tell the actually coffee beans were really great quality, and the hazelnut was subtle yet really came through at the same time. The lady taking my order was very helpful and sweet. She made suggestions and answered questions. Overall, I just love the cozy vibe at Perky Joe’s. They have amazing pastries, drinks, and a wide variety of tasty items on their menu. I’d rate it 4.25/5 stars.

Your Girl,

I remember going to Perky Joe’s around the time it opened. My mom and I loved the workers there and we just kept going back. I would bring friends to Thursday breakfast at Perky Joe’s. Me and O even had a gift exchange there. I went there the afternoon of my confirmation with my mom and mommom. I have some of the best memories there, so I am a bit biased. I like how tiny it is and all the healthy options in addition to all the sweets. My favorite thing on the menu is a Chai Latte and a chocolate croissant. I also love the art and book exchange. I love how you can see part of the kitchen, I think it adds to the vibe. I would rate Perky Joe’s 4.5/5 because I love the memories, I love the food, I love the people, and I love the vibe.

Xoxo,

Going to Perky Joe’s, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. From the outside, it didn’t give much away about the delightful inside. While I wouldn’t normally have had much interest, the cute name and the sweet look of the cafe were surprisingly inviting. It just felt homey, even from the outside. Going in, it felt like we were transported out of Montgomeryville. Suddenly we were in the pocono Mountains, grabbing an early morning coffee before going on hike.

I ordered a cappuccino. The service was really quick and the baristas were very nice. The milk was completely frothed and it was absolutely delicious! It was a little too sweet for my liking, but the caramel was a little to subtle. It was still very good and I would definitely return, but would maybe order a double caramel shot. The vibe was so much fun for us to sit and chat, and it was very comfy. My rating is ⅘ stars
